The professors' research at the Wine Campus Neustadt is particularly well integrated into the research and development environment of the Rural Area Service Center (DLR) Rhenish Palatinate .

The seven professors from the three universities of applied sciences who teach full-time on the course devote 50 % of their teaching load to joint research projects with the scientists at the Competence Center for Wine Research. At Dienstleistungszentren Ländlicher Raum (DLR) Rhenish Area Service Center (DLR) Rheinpfalz, applied research in viticulture, Enology and phytomedicine is carried out at a high scientific level.
