Wine Expertise
Contents | The "Wine Expertise" module aims to broaden the horizon for the evaluation and recognition of global wine styles. Particular attention is paid to professional communication skills with regard to the sensory characteristics of wines and spirits. In addition to the positive and wine-determining properties, the participants also learn to recognize and characterize masking or even deteriorating off-flavours and impurities. By combining basic knowledge and background knowledge of international cuisines with specialist knowledge of wine, participants will be able to make a confident selection of suitable wines for different dishes and other occasions. Intercultural aspects of food and wine as well as correct behavior at the tables of the world are also topics of this certificate module. The certificate module is significantly enriched by the experience and expertise of the lecturers. |
